Lakewood Retreat Policies

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable stay for all our guests, we have established the following policies:

Check-in & Check Out

  • Check-in is between 3-4 PM

  • Check-out is at 11 AM.

  • Please contact us in advance if you need any adjustments to these times, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Booking & Payment

  • A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking.

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund of your deposit OR reschedule for another date in the same calendar year.

  • “No shows” and cancellations with less than a 30-day notice before arrival will be charged the FULL reservation rental cost.

  • All guests of the Lakewood Retreat are required to sign a liability waiver that must be submitted with payment. REVIEW HERE.

Safety & Security

  • For your safety, please ensure that all doors and windows are locked when you leave the property. Lakewood Retreat is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • There is no lifeguard on Paw Paw Lake, so please swim and fish at your own risk.

  • We do not allow firearms, including air-soft, BB, and paintball guns.

  • Water balloons are not permitted at our Lakewood Retreat.

  • We do not allow glass containers on the lakefront.

Occupancy

  • The maximum occupancy of the retreat is 12 guests. Exceeding this limit may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

  • We allow registered guests ONLY. No visitors.
    No single-day use is available at this time.

Pets

  • Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in the home to maintain a clean and allergy-free environment for all our guests.

  • Service dogs are permitted to have proper certification provided before arrival at the Lakewood retreat.

Quiet Hours

  • To respect the tranquility of the lake and our neighbors, we kindly ask that guests observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Smoking

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home. Guests are welcome to smoke outdoors; please dispose of all cigarette butts responsibly.

Damages & Maintenance

  • Guests are responsible for any damages or missing items that occur during their stay. We kindly request that you report any maintenance issues to us promptly so we can address them.
